While reports still show many areas of New South Wales affected by drought, recent rain across the national grain belt has given a very welcome dose of confidence to the grain growers. Most farmers report that the winter crops are in and most have had a drink.
As a result, Muscat Trailers has been welcoming a recent rise in the number of enquiries for specialist grain trailers.
“We understand that most of the carriers have had to play the waiting game, but now that confidence is high many carriers have been contacting us and enquiring about stock availability,” says Muscat’s General Manager, Steve Olszewski.
“While we are busy at the moment, we do have large stocks of aluminium available and can respond accordingly. We do our best to accommodate all our customers and communicate with them constantly on the design, delivery and finish of the product.”
Most recently Muscat produced a number of innovative designs, including a 42-foot Wedge built exclusively for McCulloch Bulk Haulage in Tamworth.
“These monsters have a number of features that enable the customer to maximise his payloads. This includes a uniquely sized grain door on the back of the trailer,” Steve says, confirming that he is always more than happy to custom build to the customer’s unique requirements.
Having manufactured trailers for well over 30 years, Muscat Trailers can produce a wide range of aluminium and Bisalloy tippers in various configurations, such as side tippers, tip over axles, chassis tippers, as well as three, four and five-axle dog trailers.
“We have the engineering capabilities in place to be able to design, draw and then simulate our design to ensure that we have produced the optimum trailer for the customer.”
On top of offering its wide range of trailers, Muscat Trailers can also offer specialist repairs to a full range of trailers and modifications to existing trailers.
