Maurice Azzopardi began his career in the fabricating business at the age of 18 as an apprentice with Mr Angelo Borg (Borcat Trailers) in 1968 as his mentor. In 1970
Maurice left and formed a partnership with Mr Paul Muscat and thus began the
business of Muscat Trailers.

Over the last 35 years, I have been involved with many customers. We have grown the business as our customer’s needs have grown. We started servicing the coal industry and with companies like Heggies (HBL Bulk rans) TRN and others we worked to-gether to build trailers that would survive in the harsh working conditions in our region. Many of our trailers are still working to day.

We listen to what the customer wants for his business and then set about in designing and building the equipment, knowing the it is the correct unit for the job.
